Harvesting experience event was held in the rice paddy frames in Senga-machi, Kikugawa city

An event experiencing rice harvest was held on 20th Oct. in rice paddy frames called “Senga-machi” in Kami-kurasawa, Kikugawa city.

390 registered owners of the paddy frames took part in the event, and the activities were carried out under the leadership of incorporated nonprofit organization, Senga-machi tanada club and members of Tanada research group in Shizuoka University.

Participants harvested the rice with having fun chatting.

Harvested rice is supposed to be provided to the owners on Nov. after polished.

Chagusaba agricultural method using semi-natural grass lands has been carrying out actively, and preserved invaluable bio-diversities.

The council for the promotion of “Chagusaba in Shizuoka” will continue to support the activities held around the Senga-machi rice paddy frames.
