Hand made Japanese Style Black Tea Making Experience for Family and Learning Shizuoka’s Chagusaba Method Carrying out in the GIAHS site

Hand made Japanese style black tea making event, using tea leaves harvested from the tea fields where Chagusaba agricultural method is carrying out, is going to be held in Kikugawa city in the GIAHS site. You will be able to complete entire black tea making process including withering and hand rolling throughout the day. Why don’t you bring your own hand made black tea and enjoy a cup of black tea with your family? This event is available for families including small children.

1  Time:  2/16/2019 Saturday, 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM

2  Venue: Kami-kurasawa Kokaidou (public hall)

3  Capacities: 20

4  Fees: 500 yen (free to join for children below elementary school age)

5  Activities: Making black tea (The first half)

Seminar: learning Shizuoka’s Chagusaba method and terrace rice paddy fields in Sengamachi (The last half)
