The picture book “Haruno tanada de” was given to the children at the terrace paddy rice fields.

A presentation ceremony for the picture book which illustrates terrace paddy rice fields, “Senga machi” and neighboring semi-natural grass lands, “Chagusaba” was held on June 2nd in Kurasawa, Kikugawa city in Shizuoka. The picture book, “Haruno tanada de (Literally, at the terrace paddy rice field in Spring)” was given to the kindergarten children and junior high school students in the city by the mayor, representatives of incorporated nonprofit organization, supporting company and volunteer organization. This picture book is supposed to be used for the promotion of “Senga machi” and the traditional agricultural method “Chagusaba” at the city libraries and the public facilities.
